A four-level interview instrument for family/friend (unpaid) carers that measures carers’ social care-related quality of life (SCRQoL).
The ASCOT-Carer INT4 applies a counterfactual self-estimation method to estimate the effect of social care on carer’s quality of life. This is explained in the ASCOT-Carer INT4 guidance below.
It is suitable for face-to-face, telephone or online interviews, and can be preference-weighted for use in economic evaluations.
